The Care2 has been subjected to rigorous crash tests by the Swedish research institute RISE, using the same method as for frontal impact tests on child seats (ECE R44). The patented Care2 is made of aluminum and shatterproof nylon plastic, resistant to large temperature fluctuations. The beveled design improves the impact properties of the cage and reduces the risk of damage in the event of a collision. The Care2 has two doors made of reinforced plastic, a comfortable carrying handle as well as a built-in thermometer with a scale in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
